A new babe on the comedy block, female comedian Zoe Lyons has blown away all in her path since she launched herself on the comedy world in 2004.She more than fulfilled expectations, by winning the Babycham Newcomer of the Year prize, and becoming a finalist in another and has since taken big strides to become a household name following appearances on Mock the Week (BBC 2011), The Wright Stuff (C5 2011), The Blame Game (BBC Northern Ireland 2011), This Week (BBC News 2011) and Michael McIntyre's Roadshow (BBC1 2010) to name a few
Having started out as an actress, but deciding that was too tame, Zoe takes a sideways view of life, picking out the many absurdities and turning them into hilarious routines which she delivers with tremendous energy, drawing on her acting skills to provide a kaleidoscope of voices and faces throughout the act.
Zoe is still recognised after demonstrating her ability to laugh in the face of adversity, as a contestant on ITV's Survivor programme - she also became a dab hand spearing sting rays!
